Designed and delivered a surgical scheduling platform that coordinates operating rooms, surgical teams, equipment, and pre-op workflows across multiple hospital departments.
The Problem
Surgical scheduling relied on shared calendars and phone calls between departments. Double-bookings happened weekly, equipment conflicts caused last-minute cancellations, and pre-operative checklists were tracked on paper — leading to compliance gaps.
Our Solution
Built a constraint-based scheduling engine that accounts for surgeon availability, OR capacity, equipment requirements, and anesthesiologist assignments simultaneously. Pre-op checklist digitization ensures nothing is missed before a patient enters the OR.
