Built an end-to-end cloud-native platform for a major European hospital network to manage patient admissions, bed allocation, discharge workflows, and real-time ward occupancy — replacing a legacy paper-based system.
The Problem
A 600-bed hospital network managed patient flow through spreadsheets and whiteboards. Bed allocation took 45+ minutes per admission, discharge bottlenecks caused ER overflow, and staff had zero visibility into real-time ward capacity across floors.
Our Solution
Developed a real-time ward management dashboard with live bed maps, automated admission routing based on acuity scoring, discharge prediction models, and push notifications for nursing staff. Integrated with the hospital's existing HIS via FHIR APIs.
