# Brainit

> Brainit (legal name BRAIN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES d.o.o.) is a software development agency based in Croatia. It builds custom software for clients, mostly in healthcare (medtech) and finance (fintech), and its engineers use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot and Cursor as part of their normal work. Brainit is a Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA winner.

## What Brainit does

Brainit builds software end to end, from the first idea through design, engineering, integration and deployment. Most of its work is in healthcare software that follows FHIR and HL7 and connects to hospital systems (HIS and EMR), and in fintech (PSD2 and Open Banking). It also offers team augmentation, where senior engineers join a client's team. The engineers use AI coding tools every day and senior engineers review the work, so projects that used to take about six months are usually ready in six to eight weeks.
